So many people have “advice” for how to treat endometriosis pain. They’ll tell me what I should eat, and how I should exercise. They’re always giving me tips and it’s exhausting. For a while, I tried to ignore all the tips and just pretend that I wasn’t really in pain. When that didn’t work, I finally decided to educate myself.
I got really into my research, and realized I had no idea what was going on in my body. I decided to talk to my doctor about different treatment options. At her recommendation, I started eating healthy foods. I also began taking vitamins and trying essential oils.
Ladies, look up endometriosis! Talk to your doctor about your treatment options! It’s hard to talk to your doctor if you don’t understand the disease. Believe me, I know. I’ve been there. Some days I still feel a little lost. But, together we are endo strong! I’m so thankful for all the endo sisters who have helped me in my journey.
